God With Us - A Family Advent Celebration

"God With Us" was written by Katie Pawlak and is designed to make the celebration of Advent simple, memorable, and gospel-focused for the entire family. Daily readings corresponding with 25 symbols from the Old and New Testaments, short prayers, and extension activities provide a flexible and engaging approach to celebrating Advent for children ages 4-14, and the adults who love them.

The Jesse Tree is a Christmas tradition that takes place during the Advent season.  In the days leading up to Christmas, a tree, banner, or branch is decorated with ornaments depicting symbols from stories in the Bible that point ahead to the lineage and birth of Jesus Christ, the long-awaited Messiah.  This book uses the Jesse tree format to celebrate God's enduring faithfulness to His people through the sending of His Son to earth that first Christmas night.

Simple yet beautiful images of hand-embroidered felt ornaments accompany each day's reading, drawing in children and adults alike to the story of God's love as shown through the birth of Jesus.  Appendices at the back of the book list the verses for each reading in full, as well as images of each day's ornament/symbol that can be cut out or photocopied and made into ornaments.

Jesse Tree Ornaments

This ornament set consists of 25 fully-assembled wooden ornaments, each 2.6" in diameter, with twine hanging loops.  Images are high quality printed photographs of felt ornaments, which are affixed to the discs prior to sealing. Each ornament is sealed with a non-toxic clear coat for added durability, and has smooth, laser-cut edges to be gentle on little hands.  A laminated table of Bible verses that correspond to each day's story and symbol is included with every ornament order.

Jesse Tree Coloring Book

25 pages of simple hand-drawn images waiting to be colored in! This 8.5 x 11" spiral bound book makes a great activity for children to do while the God With Us family devotional is being read, or it can be a family devotional on its own.

Each page contains a hand drawn image corresponding to the day's story theme, as well as the day's scripture verses in full  from the NIV translation.
